About

We are excited to bring you the first ever Beers And Cameras chapter in Canada! We are working with The Camera Store as a sponsor for our events in Calgary, Alberta. With bi-weekly meet-ups lead and hosted by staff from The Camera Store; Chris Niccolls, Jordan Drake, Kaitlyn Kerr and Alex Beraru! Enjoy special guests, photowalks, give-aways, hands-on with new gear as well as indulging in tasty local craft beer!

A meet-up?

Beers And Cameras YYC is a bi-weekly meet-up group that meets at local breweries and restaurants in Calgary, bouncing from one to the other every 1.5-2 hrs. All while taking pictures, geeking-out on gear, and enjoying delicious indie-beer. The meet-ups are attended by photographers, videographers and creatives all looking to build a stronger local community where networking and teaming is encouraged. Sponsored by the fine folks at The Camera Store in Calgary and organized by B&C.

During...

During these events, taking photos while drinking and eating at the venues and meeting fellow creatives is what this meet-up is about. We are encouraged  by the growth of communities in our chapters and know that the Calgary community will be nothing short of amazing. If you have ever wanted to surround yourself with artist with your similar interest, here is your chance.

The venues

We are choosing only the best local venues for our meet-ups! The venues we visit will not only get to have our outstanding group as patrons, they get to repost social media photos they like, plus they will receive a link from B&C with photos from those within the group wanting to share them. The venues are free to use these photos on their social media accounts, while tagging the photographer and Beers and Cameras' Instagram and Facebook accts. Best of all, as the community grows so will our ability to network and potentially partner-up with local business for special projects and more. Its a great time to get involved Calgary!
