A meet-up?

Beers And Cameras Phoenix is a bi-weekly meet-up group that meets at local breweries and restaurants, bouncing from one to the other every 1.5 hrs. all while taking pictures, geeking-out on gear, and enjoying delicious indie-beer. The meet-ups are attended by photographers, videographers and creatives looking to build a stronger local community. This group meets once a month a breweries all over Phoenix and beyond.

During these events, posting to your personal social media accounts is encouraged. The venues often repost these photos on their social media accounts, tagging the photographer and Beers and Cameras' Instagram and Facebook accts; all great organic marketing. We encourage all to hashtag #beersandcamerasPhx and the IG act. B&C to share their photos in order to have their pictures submitted for use.

Our next #beersandcameras San Diego is happening May 11th at @harlandbeer in Bay Park! Led by @philliphernandez our meetup starts at 5pm with a photowalk #chasingsunsets around 6-6:15pm. We’ll be trying out a new activity with the group to encourage even more interaction. As always, both digital and film friendly and we welcome beginners as well as professionals to come hang out. The views from the deck of our river cruise boat provided a unique perspective to the city. The #LeicaR9 with a 35-70 f4 lens making it much more versatile than the Hassy for exploring the scenery via the lens. Many more images taken with the Leica M10-R await to be discovered, but not holding our breath it will unveil anything spectacular either 😆 The funnest part of this river trip was the time spent engaging with friends and not photographing but taking a break and feasting on the scenery. #thedarkroomlab_chicago2023 #beersandcameras #chicagophotographer

Shooting the square format of the Hasselblad #hasselblad500cm left me feeling like @50_shades_of_jason here… 😄 Think the 6x9 format of something like the Fuji GW69 would have made more sense…but that was left behind. But it was still tons of fun taking the boat cruise through downtown Chicago with our guests and @thedarkroomlab last Saturday! Chicago is a city filled with architectural marvels and makes us want to visit other states and explore more. Plus getting to see my childhood hero Sears Tower (Willis Tower) in person was just soo cool! #beersandcameras #thedarkroomlab_chicago2023

@gmcmanus10 (Glenn) took our group through an unassuming door into the rear of a vast and cavernous train station 🚉 We were amazed at the luck to shoot an area without the crowds and pedestrians making things difficult. It felt a bit surreal and even liminal as we tried to make some images while feeling as though we’d be kicked out at anytime; we eventually were. First three snaps with @leicacamerausa #leicaR9, Leica 35-70 f4 lens and @kodakprofessional Porta400 and last 3 with the #LeicaM7 #nokton35mmf15 and @reflx_lab 400D film.
