///Beers And Cameras Interview by Take Kayo @BigHeadTaco\\\ by juan martinez

We had the pleasure of having Take Kayo, @BigHeadTaco fly down to San Diego to Vlog our 1st Year Anniversary party. We will write-up a proper Journal post soon, but here is his newly released video! Enjoy...

When Juan of Beers and Cameras invited me to attend his 1 year anniversary party in San Diego, I thought he was a bit crazy. Yes, Juan is crazy, but the good type. He loves his family, he loves people, craft beer and cameras.

COSYSPEED Joel Meyerowitz Photo Competition by juan martinez

We have team-up with COSYSPEED in order to both celebrate a great street photography legend, Joel Meyerowitz, and COSYSPEED's new Camslinger Streetomatic camera bags. COSYSPEED is a German based company that is focused on gear for mirrorless cameras. Their philosophy is to provide photographers with innovative gear like the CAMSLINGER, and on the other hand help people in developing countries.

Joel Meyerowitz (born March 6th, 1938) is a street, portrait and landscape photographer. He began photographing in color in 1962 and was an early advocate of the use of color during a time when there was significant resistance to the idea of color photography as serious art. In the early 1970's he taught the first color course at the Cooper Union in New York City where many of today's renowned color photographers studied with him. An author of 16 books, he is a great legend of our time.  [Wikipedia]

Our Beers And Cameras photo competition will entail whom can best reinterprete one of Joel Meyerowitz's classic photos below. By letting oneself be inspired by his work, we hope participants dive deep into what makes his photos classics and find a unique perspective all their own.
